According to the American Society for Microbiology http://cmr.asm.org/content/21/4/606.full , Candida Parapsilosis is not like typical Candida in that it is not an obligate human pathogen. There is much debate about if Candida Parapsilosis is a bystander or a certain pathogen infections. There has been an increase in the amount of infections in the last two decades. People with immune systems that are compromised are at the most risk of catching Candida Parapsilosis.
To get rid of Candida Parapsilosis, typical treatments would include extraction of Candida, and then having a systemic antifungal administered.
What makes it difficult with Candida Parapsilosis, is it doesn’t normally effect humans, so it typically attacks someone with a very weak immune system. It is hard to fight off anything when your immune system is weak, but to fight off Candida Parapsilosis when it is weak is extremely difficult. That is why traditional medicine doesn’t wait and simply extracts the Candida and administers antifungals to get rid of whatever is left over.
I believe the problem with that method is you just make your already weak body even weaker by taking antibiotics, antifungals, etc. Even though it makes it weak, I still do believe you must get rid of Candida Parapsilosis as soon as possible as the side effects from it can be quite drastic.
I will say to treat Candida Parapsilosis, the best treatment would be to stay healthy and I shape, and you will have to worry less. To stay healthy make sure you get the right diet, with the right amount of exercise. If you live alone and are single, don’t just order in all the time because it’s easy, instead take the time to do things properly. Go outside and go shopping for food because that is the only way you know for sure what you are putting into your body. If you eat the right foods, you will have a much lower chance of ever getting Candida Parapsilosis.
